Function of filter screen in glue filling machine
The filter screen in the glue filling machine is mainly used to filter impurities in the glue, so as to protect the pump body and the glue valve, reduce the abrasion of impurities on the pump body and the glue valve, and prolong the service life of the pump body and the valve body. The filter screen is generally located at the hopper or the ball valve of the automatic suction pipe.
The hole size of filter screen is generally about 80 meshes. The filling material in the glue is generally about 500 meshes to 1000 meshes, and the bigger the number of meshes is, the bigger the hole will be. When the filter screen is used to filter glue, impurities and packing will stick to the filter screen for a long time, which will cause the filter screen to be blocked and the glue cannot be removed. Therefore, the filter screen shall be cleaned regularly.
The core part of the glue filling machine is the metering pump body, which can effectively protect the pump body by filtering the glue through the filter screen. But the filter screen must be cleaned regularly, so some customers feel more troublesome, simply remove the filter screen, do not use the filter screen, in this way, the service life of the pump body will be reduced.
