How to protect the automatic soldering iron tip during normal use?

As a soldering equipment manufacturer, Pinspeed Technology specializes in the production of automatic soldering equipment, four-axis rotary automatic soldering machine, 5-axis double-station automatic soldering machine, multi-head automatic soldering machine, etc., according to the actual needs of customers to provide relevant products for solder solutions .

Pinspeed technology automatic soldering iron tip is a very important core component, its state is directly related to the quality of our work, now the product speed technology Xiaobian to share, how to protect the tip in the usual use process?

1 Select the appropriate temperature, too high temperature will weaken the function of the tip, accelerate its oxidation, and shorten the service life. It is recommended that the temperature not be too high (about 260 °) for the first heating, and tin on the tip to remove the oxide on the surface. When it is working, try to use a lower temperature, lower temperature can also be fully welded, and can be divided to protect temperature-sensitive components. It is generally recommended to use a temperature of 350 to 380 degrees. Small solder joints below 1.5mm 350~360 degrees, over 2.5mm solder joints 370~380 degrees

2 When using the soldering iron for the first time, be sure to adjust the temperature of the soldering iron to 220 degrees, and let the tin on the soldering iron tip fully eat tin. It is best to soak it in the tin for 5 minutes, then wipe it on the cleaning sponge. The temperature of the soldering iron is adjusted to 300 degrees, the above procedure is repeated, and finally the temperature of the soldering iron is adjusted to the required operating temperature for use. The purpose is to form a comprehensive protective film on the tin layer of the soldering iron tip to prevent it from being oxidized at high temperatures, resulting in failure of heat transfer.

3 If the tinned part of the tip contains black oxide, apply a new tin layer and wipe the tip with a moist cleaning sponge. Repeat the cleaning in this way until the oxide is completely removed, and then apply a new tin layer. Regularly clean the tip.

4 If not used, turn off the power, wipe the soldering iron on the cleaning sponge, and then apply a new layer of tin. Before using it again, wipe the soldering iron on the cleaning sponge and then apply a new layer of tin.

5 Replace the tip when any of the following conditions occur:

(1) The soldering iron tip is oxidized, and the oxide cannot be removed by the above method.

(2) The tip of the tip is incomplete and defective.

(3) Holes and perforations appear in the soldering iron tip.
